The Westwood Hotel Property offers multiple amenities such as STK Restaurant, Bliss Spa, Living Room Bar, Poolside Cabanas and more. Whether you are looking to do a staycation, vacation, in town for a work trip or just in the area, the W Los Angeles has everything you need. Located in the heart of Westwood and on the edge of Bel Air, this property is central to it all. Wanting to hit the beach? Head down Santa Monica Blvd. for 10 minutes and see the beautiful ocean. Want to shop till you drop? It is only a ten minute journey to the infamous Rodeo Drive.

The WLA’s Studios and Suites cater to the feeling of being at home all while being away from home. The modernized and sleek furniture give you the LA lifestyle sense, and the Pacific Ocean color accents play on a tranquil and peaceful environment. The W Los Angeles doesn’t hold back when it comes to offering outstanding accommodations whether it’s the Thom Filicia pillow on your bed, the large flat screen TVs, or delectable room service for those mornings you just want to stay in bed a little longer.

The Wet Pool & The Backyard

For the Weekend Warrior or California weather lover, The Backyard and Wet Pool is the place for you. The Backyard is known for its live music and being one of La’s happy hour hidden gems. They have a wide variety of Hand Crafted Cocktails, Malted Beverages and a great selection of Mimosas to make the Brunch game on point. Feel free to order small bites, brunch, lunch, dinner, or dessert all while laying out on your chaise lounge chair or in your Cabana. The Wet Pool offers free wifi for anyone who feels the need to skip the office for a day to work on your emails and your tan at the same time.

Bliss Spa

Bliss Spa truly hits on the word Bliss. As you walk into this oasis on the second floor you are taken into a new world within the W. The cool toned color theme give your senses a soothing and calming feeling. Before walking into the lounge area of the spa, they have a product shop as well as a nail station. Once in the lounge area, there are the options of taking a steam, shower, or just enjoying some cucumber water in your robe and catching up on some of People Magazine. I definitely recommend picking up a few of the Bliss products on your way out, but you can also try them in your hotel room. The Lemon+Sage Body Butter moisturizer leaves your skin feeling refresh and smelling delicious. Bliss Spa offers everything under the sun from waxing to facials to massages to aromatherapy treatments and more.

The Nail Station caters to an experience that involves more than just your everyday mani-pedi; they provide a movie escapade to watch while you are getting primped and pampered. Only thought there was one type of manicure and pedicure? Let me tell you, the W really knows how to kick it up a notch. They offer multiple packages including the Double Choc Pedicure where your feet are dipped in a hot chocolate milk skin-smoothing soak, the Head Over Peels Pedicure that include a blood orange + white pepper soak and scrub, and The Upper Hand Manicure that nourishes your hands with a brightening mask and youth-inducing treatment.

The Massage packages definitely cater to any age and any person. Are you an active athlete who spends their time doing marathons, triathlons, soul cycle and the everyday Tough Mudders? Then sign up for the Extreme Sports Massage where the therapist uses a pain soothing oil and pinpoints specific areas on the body for a deep tissue massage. Not ready to enrich yourself in a full massage? The Bliss team offers a stretch therapy session where the specially trained therapists provide a controlled and comfortable deep stretching treatment that will leave you feeling completely rejuvenated. Have you ever had a massage where you just wish they would turn off the Enya track and play something you actually like? Then the “Rhythm & Bliss” Massage is perfect for you. Not only do you get to pick from four different types of music mixes, the Massage Therapist also performs the treatment along with the beat of the songs for sensory enriched bliss. Don’t feel like leaving your poolside cabana and cocktails? Don’t worry, Bliss Spa will come do poolside “Blissages".

If you are looking to revitalize your skin, Bliss Spa offers a variety of facial packages. The triple oxygen facial is what the spa is most famous for. STK

STK is not your average Steakhouse. Their modern ambiance and chic vibe trend set above the others as the place to be for any occasion. Their DJ, neighbor to the bar, plays top hits all night long at the perfect volume. The bartenders greet you as you enter into the dimly lit large venue and are ready to help you start the night. Grab a seat and a cocktail as you wait for your table or make that your playground for the rest of your evening. STK caters to the person looking for the perfect date night, people coming together for a dinner party, or if you just need to unwind with a martini after a long day at work.

The food is epic. Their farm to table experience keeps your taste buds enriched and your stomachs full. What is great about STK is you can find the chef out at your local farmer’s market picking the freshest and enriching produce to create a culinary sensation upon your arrival. If you are looking for a small bite at the bar, look no further than the Tuna Tartar, Beef Tartar, or Toy Box Melon Salad. Pair with one of their many options off the wine menu or handcrafted cocktails. Wanting to do some table sharing? Order the Shellfish Platters for the table including ceviche`, king crab, shrimp, and oysters. They have a fantastic Raw Bar that offers Oysters on a half shell, shrimp cocktail, Alaskan king crab, hamachi crudo, and lobster & king crab terrine. Looking for something light and healthy? Order the Little Gem Lettuces made with market vegetables, avocado, and a green goddess dressing. STK menu is constantly changing based on the chef’s new creations and seasonal produce, but one thing that remains is the quantity of steak. Their steak menu has a minimum of ten options at a time including a petit filet, bone-in ribeye, and porterhouses for you to choose from along with an optional sauce pairing.

For a personal touch, my experience at STK was like no other. Upon arrival, I ordered the pinot noir at the bar and was ready to begin my food coma. The Chef brought out a multitude of items off the menu, almost everything, and I began to enjoy my food journey. What I thought was going to be a simple hour alone and one divine meal turned into a three hour evening, new friends and multiple food courses. I proceeded to enjoy a variety of steaks, seafood, chicken, appetizers, salads, and more. The ambiance of dimly lit lighting, modern furniture, open space, and a DJ spinning made for a new par on Thursdays.

What is truly great about the W Los Angeles is that this isn’t a destination you only need to visit whether it's vacation, staycation, or “workcation". The WLA is the place to be for an after work cocktail at The Living Room Bar, going out to dinner at STK, nourishing yourself with a revitalizing treatment at Bliss Spa or spending a Sunday Funday at The Backyard.
